I am very interested in the Kindle2 as well as the Kindle DX but am still on the fence as to whether or not I should purchase and if this would be right for me. Is there a way I can see them and try them before I buy?

How impressive! I was going to buy the new Asus DR950 when it is released this year but now I may save my pennies for this. I love the looks of it and the fact that it offers two screens. Very innovative. The price is not too bad either.

I am excited about the Asus e-book. I have been looking for an e-book reader that I can do research, cross referencing, and take notes on. I do a lot of in depth Bible studies and use many reference materials that I need to be able to correlate and take notes. My library is quite extensive and hard to carry all of it. In fact I would need a pickup truck. It is just not practical to haul all of them around. With this device I can take my entire library with me. I think this is awesome. If the price is as low as they say that makes it even better. Can’t wait for the launch in March.

I’ll wait for the reviews… I need an e-reader and this looks amazing. Performance is also an issue that we’ll never no about until the damn thing is released which from what I heard wont be long.

I wonder how long until the non-E-ink screen manufacturers start being competitive and taking a larger portion of E Ink’s market share (currently 90%).

It sucks taht there’s not yet a screen that can do EVERYTHING well: reading, backlight, colors, video, and touchscreen. All for a reasonable price.

Wow, 500,000 FREE books? That’s a pretty difficult feature to ignore. How many does the Kindle have available? 50?

Does anyone know if the Barnes and Noble nook can browse the internet? That would definitely put it over the top for me…

I’m a bit fan of Apple’s ability to design attractive and user-friendly devices. However, I’m a bit concerned that they may be in over their heads with the iPad. It’s likely the most technically challenging device they’ve worked on yet.

I wouldn’t be surprised if v1 had some major flaws. But I hope I eat my words and it’s awesome…I’ll definitely get one!

So it has a stylus like the BeBook Neo? For some reason I’m underwhelmed by the iLiad though. It seems WAY too expensive for what its features and functionality. I’m guessing it won’t sell very well.
